Please, call me Jay. I am Moroccan. I love to teach English and share my knowledge of Moroccan culture with my students. My degree is in English Studies. I hold a TEFL and a CELTA certificate. Besides, I have also worked for seven years in both Morocco and China. My philosophy of education is that all students are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. I desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. I will provide a safe environment where students are invited to share their ideas and take risks. I believe that five essential elements are conducive to learning. (1) The teacher's role is to act as a guide. (2) Students must have access to hands-on activities. (3) Students should be able to have choices and let their curiosity direct their learning. (4) Students need the opportunity to practice skills in a safe environment. (5) Technology must be incorporated into the school day. English is’ my cup of tea’. I enjoy teaching English because it's unique – it gives students a voice. I show students that words are powerful things: they're the things that influence people, which instigate change in the world. I believe the most effective way to feel comfortable and confident with learning English is to enjoy having conversations with a teacher who guides students in lessons that are fun and interesting, with plenty of congratulations and corrections where necessary! I am friendly, motivated, funny, and more importantly patient. And I love to teach children and adults.
Experience
Concerning my educational background, I hold a bachelor's degree in English studies from Ibn Zohr University, Agadir-Morocco. I graduated in 2009. For my last three years' employment, the latter experience, I worked as an English Teacher at TongSheng Middle/High School/ Linfen, Shanxi. China from 10/09/19 To 01/12/2019. My responsibilities were as listed 1 -Plan lessons and instruct their students in the subject they teach. 2 -Assess students' abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. 3 -Adapt lessons to changes in class size. 4 -Grade students' assignments and exams 5 -Communicate with parents about students' progress. The second experience, I taught as an English Teacher at Borui Blue Sky International Kindergarten/ Shangqiu, Henan. China from 27/08/18 To 05/07/19. My responsibilities were as listed 1-Plan, evaluate, and assign lessons. 2-Prepare, administer, and grade tests, listen to oral presentations and, maintain classroom discipline. 3-Introduce children to English. For the first teaching position, I taught as an English Teacher at Alexander International Education/ Shijiazhuang, Hebei. China from 14/09/17 To 14/09/2018. My responsibilities were as listed 1- Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons. 2- Preparing teaching materials. 3- Helping pupils improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills via individual and group sessions. 4- Checking and assessing pupils' work. Concerning my achieved certificates, I got my CELTA (Certificate in English Language teaching to Adults) in February-2020. I also got my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate) in September -2018.

I'm an easygoing person thus, I like to have fun from time to another. I enjoy reading stories and watch historical movies. what I like most is going to the gym. Moreover, I like singing. In fact, I'm a professional singer.
